I was brought up in Burghead in Morayshire, Scotland and my first musical experiences are still an influence today. At the age of five I began playing the piano with the late Barbara Stewart and was introduced to the world of classical music which I greatly enjoyed. A few years later I began singing Gaelic song with it's own pure sound.

Today my musical tastes range from Mozart to modern age spiritual music with much in between.

When the harp came into my life it was almost as if it provided a link between piano and voice. It too has a unique acoustic quality which I find inspiring. I now thoroughly enjoy bringing the harp and song combination to those who have perhaps never heard one before.

I have ABRSM Grade 8 Harp and Singing and also a DipABRSM in Singing Teaching and hope to add to this in the future.

I am currently a pupil of Dr. Paul Tierney. I regularly teach singing and harp from home privately and also in Morayshire and Aberdeenshire. New beginners of all ages are most welcome.

My most recent venture has brought me into the world of choral music conducting a youth choir in Aberdeenshire.

I believe we all have a song within us and when you find it, you find yourself.
